‘Bradley Beal wants to team up with Jayson Tatum’: Wizards star set to avoid Steph Curry and Warriors to team up with bestfriend in Boston
Wizards’ star Bradley Beal lists Boston at the top of his trade destinations, all set to ditch Stephen Curry for Jayson Tatum
The NBA season may be done for, but it is nowhere close to quiet in the league. With the NBA Draft less than a week away, there is a constant buzz about the new players coming in, and possible trade scenarios. Two of the biggest names in the trade rumor have been Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal. Ever since Damian Lillard denied talks about him wanting out of Portland, all the focus has shifted on Beal alone.
Bradley Beal has been in the limelight due to the various teams that are interested in him. Among the top few are the Golden State Warriors, and the Boston Celtics. There were recently rumors that the Warriors’ big 3 had asked the management to trade their lottery picks for Beal. Recently, Jayson Tatum disputed the fact that Beal was a sure Warrior, with his comment on an Instagram post.
Bradley Beal has the Celtics as his top destination, prefers Jayson Tatum over Stephen Curry
There has been a lot of noise around the Wizards’ camp. From there, we got to know that Beal has shortlisted a few possible destinations. According to the source, Beal wants to target teams that have an established winning environment, like the Celtics, the Warriors, the Heat, or the Sixers. Out of the four, the top of the list is the Celtics for Beal.

There is a clear reason why the Celtics are higher on the list. Jayson Tatum and Bradley Beal are childhood friends. Even though Beal is five years older than Tatum, they grew up in the same area, and have been close since they were kids. They were really looking forward to playing together for Team USA before Beal had to withdraw due to Health and Safety protocols.
There is a high chance that Beal, if given an option, would take the Celtics over the Warriors and choose Tatum over Stephen Curry.
