The drama of the British Grand Prix still follows as both Red Bull and Mercedes involve themselves in a war of words, especially after Red Bull’s plea to review the penalty against Lewis Hamilton got scrapped.
Now, Christian Horner has taken a dig against the seven-time world champion by saying Hamilton would have gone out of the track limits anyway, as he would have needed to apply his brakes 23 metres earlier than he made in Silverstone around two weeks ago.
“Lewis would have had to have braked 23 metres earlier to have even made the corner,” said Horner, according to Adam Cooper.

However, most of the grid hasn’t come in support of Horner’s accusations and termed it a racing incident. Therefore, if this were the case, others would have pointed out such a significant blunder by Hamilton.
Red Bull is maligning Lewis Hamilton’s image.
After the stewards denied going further with Red Bull’s review, Mercedes got a chance to go harsh on their rivals, as they accused them of maligning Hamilton’s name.
It has been reported that Mercedes got access to the text stewards referenced in their report and were aggravated by Red Bull’s approach, and that led to the recent statement released by Mercedes.
Both teams now are vying in the Hungarian Grand Prix, which kicked off on Friday, and Max Verstappen led the FP1, followed by the Mercedes pair on P2 and P3.
But in FP2, Mercedes dominated the grid by grabbing P1 (Valtteri Bottas) and P2 (Hamilton), while Verstappen got P3 with Sergio Perez at P5.
