“Patrick Mahomes And The Chiefs Will Win The Super Bowl”: Chris Broussard Predicts A Return To Dominance For Kansas City
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs have been the team to beat in the AFC the last two years, with nothing set to change next season.
The Chiefs only improved from last season after losing Super Bowl 55 31-9 as they improved upon the one weak area on their team: the offensive line.
They added studs like Orlando Brown and Joe Thuney and signed veteran Kyle Long to shore up a unit that was disatrous in the big game last year. The Buccaneers defense was all over Mahomes in the Super Bowl which served as a wakeup call for the Chiefs to fix their offensive line.

Chris Broussard Picks Patrick Mahomes And Kansas City To Win Super Bowl 56
There’s no doubt that the Kansas City Chiefs are the class of the AFC. Thye’ve made it to the AFC Conference Championship game three years in a row, winning twice to represent the conference in the Super Bowl.
If you’re Buffalo, Cleveland or Baltimore (the biggest threats to the Chief’s reign), the team you’re eyeing right now is Kansas City. After a good offseason and a solid draft, there’s no reason to believe that Kansas City won’t be back in the AFC title game, and maybe even the Super Bowl once more.
However, they do face some stiff competition in both their own conference and the NFC (for the Super Bowl). Buffalo, Cleveland, and Baltimore have all improved their teams as well, and after years of seeing Mahomes dominate, they’ll be hungry to finally bring him down.
Additionally, if the Chiefs do make the Super Bowl, they’re no lock to win it either. The Buccaneers brought back all 22 starters from Super Bowl 55 and will be as formidable as ever, and of course, teams like the Green Bay Packers, and maybe even the Los Angeles Rams with Matthew Stafford now could pose a big challenge.
The road is difficult, but Kansas City is well equipped to win the big game. With a generational talent slinging the ball around, anything is possible, and the Chiefs have already tasted success with this team. For that reason, Chris Broussard already has his pick for the Super Bowl down:
