Virat Kohli reigns supreme in the latest ICC ODI rankings

Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s consistency is becoming quite difficult to believe, as the classy right hander has carried on and notched up another couple of hundreds in the ongoing series against South Africa.

Kohli has dominated the hosts, as the South African bowlers have looked clueless against the batsman. After a superb century in Durban, Kohli backed it up with another hundred in Cape Town, as he completed 34 ODI centuries.

Unquestionably the best batsman in ODIs right now.

Rohit Sharma’s timely return to form meant that he maintained his position at number four on the list, as the Indian star silenced his critics with a well made 118 yesterday.

Shikhar Dhawan has also had a good time in South Africa, which is why he has risen a place up to 14th in the ODI rankings list, and is just below MS Dhoni in 12th place.

Among the bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah has moved up to 3rd place on the list, as the pacer’s solid performances in South Africa have been rewarded.

India also guaranteed their number one position in the ODI team rankings, as their victory over South Africa has officially made them the best outfit in ODI cricket.
