“Kevin Durant hasn’t won sh*t without Steph Curry!”: NBA Twitter ROASTS Nets star as Brooklyn faces potential to be SWEPT by Jayson Tatum in the first round
NBA Twitter rags on Kevin Durant after the Brooklyn Nets go down 0-3 to the Boston Celtics in the first round
Things seem to be going from bad to worse for Kevin Durant and the Nets right now.
Despite their entry into the playoffs through the play in tournament, the franchise was anointed by many to be contenders. But now, after 3 games, the franchise is one game away from being eliminated by the Celtics. Not a good look.
The result? Well, aside from the usual in-game implications, you also have NBA Twitter looking to troll this team. And BOY, can they troll!
Off late, Kevin Durant has been getting some serious flak from fans on Twitter. And one of the things they have been saying, well… let’s just say it’s going to cut deep.
Let’s get into it, shall we?
NBA Twitter says Kevin Durant hasn’t achieved a thing without Stephen Curry so far in his career
During the Warriors part of his NBA career so far, you could say that Kevin Durant was the best player on the team. Heck, you could even say they don’t win either of their two titles during that stretch without him.
Unfortunately for the man, however, he hasn’t been able to win one since he left the shores of San Francisco. And while he may not mind it as much on his own, NBA Twitter is not going to let him forget a single thing.
KD (without Steph Curry) has accomplished just as much as James Harden

Damn kd really gonna get swept in he 1st round while the warriors replaced him with Jordan Poole pic.twitter.com/V81qdl9n4v

We will say KD was plain unlucky during last year’s postseason. Of course, you have the infamous foot-on-the-line moment. But his star teammates falling like flies to injury at the time didn’t really help either.
This season, however, yeah, it’s been bad. All we can say is, for his sake, we hope he figures it out. Otherwise, we could see the Nets swept by the final buzzer of game 4.
And lord only knows where the NBA community will go if that happens.
