Ravindra Jadeja’s wife involved in car accident, cop allegedly assaults her

Ravindra Jadeja’s wife, Reeva Jadeja was involved in a minor car accident, wherein her car hit the motorcycle of constable Sajay Ahir.

The constable then assaulted Jadeja’s wife, leading to a police complaint against the cop.

The cop apparently ‘thrashed’ Reeva Jadeja and is now being detained by the Jamnagar Police.

The incident took place at the Saru Section road, where the cop assaulted Jadeja’s wife after her car had hit his motorcycle, as per Jamnagar district superintendent of police Pradeep Sejul.

“The policeman physically assaulted Reeva Jadeja after her car hit his motorbike. We are providing all possible help to her and will take strict action against the policeman,” he said.

An eye witness claimed that the cop brutally ‘thrashed’ Reeva Jadeja.

“The policeman mercilessly thrashed Reeva and even pulled her hair during an altercation. We saved her from his clutches,” Vijaysinh Chavda, the eye witness said.

Ravindra Jadeja hasn’t given a statement regarding the incident and there is no update if he would be travelling to Gujarat to be with his wife.

CSK are set to play in the first qualifier against SRH tomorrow and Jadeja is scheduled to play in it.

We’ll have to wait and see if Jadeja decides to return to Jamnagar, but it is most likely that he would feature for CSK tomorrow.
