Giannis Antetokounmpo, Since ‘The Ladder Incident’, has averaged 36 and Tied 7’2″ Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
The Milwaukee Bucks are back on a roll. They are on a 3-game winning streak after falling to the Lakers a few days ago. Buoyed by the consistency of Giannis Antetokounmpo, they look legitimate. Tonight they took down an emerging Western Conference team in the form of the Sacramento Kings. No more lighting the beam, it’s time to light the “cream”.
As the season rolls on, we will see players break all kinds of records. And among them, the name Giannis Antetokounmpo will emerge a lot of times. Tonight he put up a very easy 35 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds.
With his 8th consecutive 30-point game of the season, he’s tied a legend. But what kickstarted this incident? A falling ladder!
Giannis Antetokounmpo ties Kareem Abdul-Jabbar all because of a ladder
Yes, as absurd as that headline sounds, it’s true. Perhaps the only reason we can think of, apart from Giannis’ need to dominate the NBA, is the ladder.
Now, with his 8th consecutive 30-point game, he has tied Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the second-longest streak in Bucks’ history. Of course, if you are Giannis, there is only one ghost you are chasing and it is Kareem’s.
The 7’2″ center holds almost all the records in Bucks history, and a new 7-footer, in the form of Giannis is chasing it down.

And tonight, he put in a very good all-around performance. He also scored more points than minutes played. How about that.

Throwing it back to the “ladder incident”
For those wondering, this is the ladder incident we are referring to. There was a whole fiasco and as a learning experience, Giannis has emerged from this like a champ.

As one Twitter user pointed out, since the ladder moved, Giannis has not scored below 30. The Kraken is awake.
They moved that ladder in Giannis’ way and he hasn’t scored under 30 since
