“Michael Wilbon, Please Explain Yourself!”: Stephen A Smith Brings Out Old Clip As ESPN Analyst’s Bulls-Knicks Prediction Goes Horribly Wrong
After a concerning 10-13 start to the 2022-23 season, the New York Knicks have finally found their rhythm lately. Coming off a huge win against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night, Julius Randle and co. managed to grab yet another victory at the United Center.
While Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan combined for merely 31 points, 7 assists, and 7 rebounds, the Knicks big three of Jalen Brunson (22 points), Randle (19/12 double-double), and RJ Barrett (27 points) led NYK to their 6th straight win of the campaign.

Just like the several Knicks’ supporters around the world, Stephen A Smith was one happy man. Not only because his favorite team grabbed a win, but also because he got to troll his co-analyst wrong after the game.
Stephen A Smith trolls Michael Wilbon for predicting a Chicago Bulls win
After the 1st Chicago Bulls-New York Knicks clash, Michael Wilbon went on to state that Deebo and co. were going to be winning the very next clash… by a double-digit lead. In a segment on ESPN’s “NBA Countdown”, Wilbon boldly predicted:
“The Knicks are going down by double digits. Double digits.”
SAS was having the time of his life when the old clip was played after Michael’s predictions went horribly wrong. Looking at the highlights from the Knicks’ 114-91 win over the Bulls, Smith kept on mocking Wilbon.
The New York Knicks possesses the longest win streak in the East
The Knicks managed to defeat the likes of the Cavs, the Hawks, the Hornets, the Kings, and the Bulls, to achieve the longest (6) win streak in the Eastern Conference.

After being out of the playoffs and play-in seedings initially, Tom Thibodeau’s boys have gradually cliombed up the standings. With an impressive 16-13 record, the NY-based franchise is now 6th in the East. And are only 1.5 games behind the #4 Brooklyn Nets.
