Most runs PAK vs ENG series 2022: Most runs in PAK vs ENG Test series 2022
During the second day of the third Test match of England’s tour of Pakistan 2022 in Karachi, England batter Harry Brook not only scored a third Test century but also bolstered his chances of winning a maiden Player of the Series award in only his second Test series (first away from home).
Coming in to bat at No. 5 in the 14th over with his team losing two consecutive wickets, Brook scored an effortless 111 (150) with the help of eight fours and three sixes. Brook, 23, scoring a century at a strike rate of 74 in spite of England being in a bit of a spot of bother spoke highly of his faith in his own attacking game irrespective of the match situation.
The fact that all three of Brook’s Test centuries have come away from home in as many matches further highlights how the right-handed batter has it in him to become a proper all-condition batter in international cricket. Having achieved the feat in just his sixth innings (joint second-fastest to do so), Brook has joined an elite club comprising of George Headley, Arthur Morris and Vinod Kambli.

Brook, whose 117-run sixth-wicket partnership alongside wicket-keeper batter Ben Foakes (64) played a key role in England gaining a 50-run lead in the first innings, also managed to surpass former England captain David Gower with respect to scoring most runs for England in a Test series in Pakistan.
Highest run-scorer of the series by a sizeable margin, Brook has already amassed 468 runs across five innings at an average and strike rate of 93.60 and 93.41 respectively. With one innings remaining in the series, it will be interesting to see if Brook is able to cross the 500-run mark (staggering achievement in a three-match series) or not.
