Is Klay Thompson Playing Tonight vs the Nets? Warriors Issue Availability Report for 4x NBA Champion
The Golden State Warriors are having quite a turbulent road trip. Not only has their record been 1-4 so far, but they also lost Stephen Curry to an injury. The only game they won was against the Raptors, where Klay Thompson chipped in with 17 points.
Last night, Klay was struggling against the Knicks, going 5 of 12 from the field, and scoring just 11 points. The pressure to take on a greater scoring load has affected Klay’s game. He’s gone 7 of 22(31.8%) from the deep since Curry’s injury, considerably lower than his season average of 38.2%.
The defending champions head to face Kevin Durant and the Nets tonight. Fans wonder whether Steve Kerr would let Thompson play on the second night of a back-to-back.
Klay Thompson is OUT against the Nets
After the humbling loss against the New York Knicks, the Warriors would like to seal the road trip with a win against the Nets. However, that is easier said than done. The Nets have won 9 of their last ten games and have climbed to the 4th seed in the East.
To add to the difficulties for the Dubs, Klay Thompson will not play tonight.
No Klay Thompson tomorrow against the Nets and very likely no Andrew Wiggins. It seems Wiggins is aiming for start of the next homestand on Christmas. Here is Kerr on it. pic.twitter.com/ACv6Y765Zj

On top of that, they would also most likely be missing Andrew Wiggins, JayMychal Green, and Donte DiVincenzo.
It’ll be a tough encounter for the young Warriors, with Jordan Poole leading the way and Draymond Green being the only veteran available.
