Dennis Rodman, Who wore a Dress to Promote his Biography, Got Kicked out of a Bar for Waving Around Kim Jong Un's Manifesto

Dennis Rodman was among the greatest rebounders to have played in the NBA. His prowess in the paint meant he was versatile and a big reason why he won 5 NBA titles. Off the court, he was a nuisance of sorts. The prodigal bad boy. And even after retirement, his stories were equally wild.

He is also a diplomat. Yes, Rodman’s greatest act of diplomacy was to engineer a cultural exchange between North Korea and the United States. How did he do this? He is good friends with Kim Jong Un.

Yes, good friends with the leader of a totalitarian nation. Dennis will never cease to amaze us. And we have taken up stories in the past, of how he became the eyes and ears for the US, how he played drinking games with Jong-Un, and now, we cover how he was thrown out of a bar in New York for brandishing North Korea’s Manifesto.

Dennis Rodman was kicked out for waving around North Korea’s manifesto

Yes, you read that absolutely right, Dennis was kicked out of a bar for talking and yelling loudly. While it wouldn’t be the first time he was evicted for that reason, the main issue was with the subject of his rant.

As per the story, Rodman was being a jerk and had a little too much to drink.

The bartender recalls,

“He was at the bar at Serafina for three hours. He kept saying what a nice guy Kim is, and how Kim just wants to talk to President Obama about basketball. (Dennis) He was waving around a signed copy of the dictator’s huge manifesto, telling everyone they should read it.”.

Mr. Rodman pulled this antic just a few days after returning from North Korea. This is the same guy who once promoted his own book by wearing a wedding dress. So it is natural he did this for a manifesto.

Dennis Rodman, the man, the myth, and the legend

This isn’t the first time Dennis has been kicked out. And the reason isn’t as wild as some proclaim. Rodman’s association with North Korea has borne fruit.

Tensions between the two countries have been at an all-time low. Recently we learned that Kim Jong-Un’s daughter was all grown up when the state media released pictures and thanks to Dennis, we knew of her name.

The intelligence community is incredibly thankful for his contributions to bringing down global escalations. His calming down of Kim Jong might have been the chess move of the century.

However, talking wildly about a totalitarian regime is not the answer. And waving it around saying the man signed it is all the more reason for the disdain.
