Zach Wilson’s Mother Lisa Wilson’s Angry Outburst at “Toxic” Jets Fanbase is Going Viral

On Thursday, Jets quarterback Zach Wilson may have played in his final game of the year. He was benched for the second time this season as a result of his appalling performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which caused the crowd to boo. This time, however, Wilson’s mother chose to criticize the entire fan base rather than letting things go as usual.

Wilson’s mother caused controversy after the match because it was claimed that in a message exchange with a fan, she referred to the Jets’ fan base as “toxic.”

The Fan wrote, “Hope you’re having a good day, Lisa. I just really wanted to apologies for the inappropriate fan behavior and other things. I’m hoping for the best for you and Zach.”

“One more thing, though: of all the athletes in sports history, Zach had single-handedly caused me the most suffering and agony. I’m glad he’s on the bench. God bless you and have a good day.”

Lisa Wilson responded by criticising the Jets supporters, expressing her frustration with the fan’s remarks. “It’s impossible for anyone to succeed here.”

“Your fan base is highly toxic. Merry Christmas,” she added. Zach Wilson struggled to advance the ball during the Week 16 game against the New York Jets. His errors and omissions added to his embarrassment and eventually irritated the audience enough for them to call him out.

Wilson was eventually benched in the third quarter in his last game, and Chris Streveler from the team’s practice squad took his place at centre. Wilson only managed to complete nine of his 18 passes for 92 yards.

Wilson’s mother has previously been involved in a controversy involving her son. Wilson’s ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile claimed last July that Wilson slept with his mother’s best friend.

It certainly wasn’t a pleasant moment. Being booed by a large crowd is certainly an embarrassment, which Wilson’s mother couldn’t handle. Fans had mixed feelings about her “Toxic” remark.

 

It remains to be seen if the former second-overall pick stays with the team in the face of all these criticisms or not. However, the likelihood of this occurring is quite low.

The Jets’ chances of making the playoffs are dwindling quickly, which suggests that his era in New York City may be coming to an end soon. Wilson’s future with the team is already the subject of rumors, but head coach Robert Saleh maintains that he will continue to play a significant role in the organization’s future.
