Who To Start Between Patrick Mahomes vs Jarrett Stidham? : NFL Week 18 Fantasy Football
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are coming off of a 27-24 victory over the Denver Broncos in which Mahomes threw for 328 yards and 3 touchdowns along with an interception. But now they face a Raiders team that gave the best defense in the NFL a run for their money.
The Raiders last played host to the San Francisco 49ers on New Year’s Day in which they lost narrowly by a score of 37-34 in overtime. Jarrett Stidham earned his first start and played quite well. He threw for 365 yards and 3 touchdowns along with 2 interceptions.

At this point in the season with only a game left in the regular season, both these teams are headed different ways. The Chiefs are getting ready to make a postseason push with Super Bowl aspirations led by MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes.
The Raiders are looking at a rebuild after seemingly parting ways with their longtime starter at quarterback Derek Carr. Carr was sent home by the team for the last two games of the season, opening the way for Jarrett Stidham.

Jarrett Stidham is trying to make a name for himself in the NFL and secure a starting job come next fall. After a strong performance that ended in a loss, Stidham will be looking forward to putting together another strong performance that culminates in a win.
However, the Raiders defense seems to be in worse condition than compared to the Chiefs defense. Mahomes, being the more experience and talented quarterback, should be able to dice up the Raiders defense.
Barring any unseen performances, Mahomes should be able to outperform Stidham. Mahomes is also the more established player compared to Stidham. If you are looking to win your league this week, starting Patrick Mahomes is the move.
