Is Devin Booker Playing Tonight vs Cavaliers? Suns Release Injury Update for 3x All-Star
Despite a 5-game losing skid in early December, the Phoenix Suns maintained a 19-12 record. However, the 2021 NBA Finalists suffered a huge blow when Devin Booker injured himself on Christmas Day.
During the 25th December clash against the Denver Nuggets, D-Book rushed back to the locker room with a groin injury having played merely 4:20 minutes of the game. Being in the midst of a 6-game road trip, the 6-foot-5 guard flew back to Phoenix for further evaluation.
In the coming days, the franchise would disclose an update, stating that the 3-time All-Star would be sidelined for a minimum of 4 weeks after sustaining a left groin strain.
INJURY UPDATE: Further evaluation has confirmed that Devin Booker has sustained a left groin strain. He will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Devin Booker to miss a few more weeks
The Suns are clearly struggling with their best player being out. 2-9 when Monty Williams’ boys play without the likes of Booker, the Arizona-based franchise has lost 5 games straight.
After a 104-96 loss against the Miami Heat, the Suns will face Donovan Mitchell’s Cleveland Cavaliers as their final home game before going on a 4-game road trip. And for the clash, apart from missing out on the services of Devin, Cam Johnson, and Cam Payne, Chris Paul is also listed as “questionable” on the injury report.
Going up against a shorthanded PHX team, clearly, the in-form Cavs are the favorites to clinch the win.
Chris Paul (right hip soreness) is questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Cavs. Devin Booker (left groin strain), Cam Johnson (right meniscus tear) and Cam Payne (right foot sprain) remain out

The only good news for Phoenix fans – Booker, who was averaging 27.1/4.6/5.6, did participate in a shooting drill during Friday’s practice session.

Stumbled down to the 7th spot in the West with a 20-20 record, the coming few weeks will be a bumpy ride for the Phoenix Suns.
