“Athletes Bought P***y From Me”: Rap King Snoop Dogg Once Reflected on His Extremely Wild Past Involving Biggest Names in the Sports World

Rap king Snoop Dogg always has some fascinating tales from his past. From why he quit smoking marijuana to converting to Rastafarianism, his personal anecdotes never cease to amaze his fans. One of the most interesting and wildest pieces of information about him is that he once was an actual p*mp. Not only was he a snazzy bawd, but he also did businesses transaction with some of the most popular sports teams in the world.

Snoop Dogg had a wild side to himself before becoming a rapper

When Dogg and 500 Cents released their song P.I.M.P., he was already one from 2003 to 2004. He revealed that he had set up an organization. The Grammy-winning rapper explained that he did a Playboy tour with his entourage of girls.

“It was my program. City to city, t***y to t***y, hotel room to hotel room, athlete to athlete, entertainer to entertainer,” he said while on an interview with the Rolling Stones. 

Even though he did not name athletes, he said that many NFL athletes used his services. “If I’m in a city where where the Denver Broncos or the Nuggets play, I get a couple of they players to come hang out, pick and choose, and whichever one you like comes with a number,” he says. “A lot of athletes bought p***y from me.”  

Unlike other souteneurs, he would allow his women to keep their money. “I’d act like I’d take the money from the b*tch, but I’d let her have it. It was never about the money; it was about the fascination of being a pimp…As a kid I dreamed of being a p*mp…I said, ‘F**k it – I’m finna do it.’”

Was Snoop married while he was a p*mp?

The celebrated rapper wed Shante Taylor, his high school sweetheart, in the summer of 1997. Their future, however, was in risk in 2004 as a result of claims that Snoop had cheated on her with a model named Celina Powell. Later that year, they separated, and four years later, they got back together.

Even when he became a p*mp, his marriage survived. He said, “My wife had to take a backseat to this shit. And I love her to this day because she coulda shook out on a n*gga, but she stayed in my corner. So when I decided to let it go, she was still there.”
