Tyreek Hill Age: How Old Is the Dolphins WR?
Popularly know as ‘The Cheetah,’ Tyreek Hill is currently a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins. The Kansas City Chiefs drafted him in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. With the Chiefs, he rose to prominence and even won a Super Bowl ring. When he joined the Chiefs as a rookie, he did so in a return specialist’s capacity. Then, he transitioned into a wide receiver. Following his rookie year, he earned the nickname ‘Cheetah’ because of his speed.
On March 23, 2022, Hill was sent to the Dolphins in exchange for a 2022 first-round pick, a 2022 second-round pick, two fourth-round picks, and a 2023 sixth-round pick. When the trade was completed, he signed a four-year, $120 million extension contract. Hill received $72.2 million in guarantees. This made him the highest-paid receiver in the league.
How old is Tyreek Hill?
The seven-time Pro Bowler was born on March 1, 1994. The 29 years old is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. Even during the offseason, Tyreek does not spend his days in leisure.
Tyreek recently proved why he is called The Cheetah. In March, the star receiver stopped by a USA Track and Field event in Louisville. It was an easy win for him because he dashed like thunder in a 60-meter race.

The Super Bowl winner easily defeated his four competitors. It was the first track meet the four-time All-Pro had entered in nearly a decade. He had to give up the sport after being dismissed from Oklahoma State because of a domestic assault arrest in December 2014.
Tyreek: A star wideout with a troubled past
Hill has been involved in a few controversies in the past. Back to his college days, he was arrested for domestic violence. As a result, Oklahoma State expelled him from the team, leaving him to finish his college career and education at the Division II University of West Alabama.
According to a police complaint acquired by the Tulsa World in Oklahoma, Hill allegedly choked his pregnant girlfriend in 2014 and flung her around “like a rag doll.” He also allegedly struck her in the face, sat on her, punched her in the stomach, and choked her.
Hill entered a guilty plea to the domestic battery by strangulation. He was given three years of probation and ordered to complete a yearlong batterer’s program and an anger management class. He also had to go through a domestic abuse assessment. As expected, when the Chiefs acquired the wide receiver, fans heavily criticized their decision.
However, even though he had a dark past, fans have now started admiring him for his ability to play like a beast on the field.
