WATCH: Jordan Poole Recieves Condescending Challenge From Malik Monk Ahead of Pivotal Game 5 of Warriors vs Kings Series
Jordan Poole and Malik Monk are two players who have the same role for their respective teams. They are both offensive energizers who get their buckets in bunches making them highly crucial to their sides. And due to that, they have a lot of confidence in their own ability too, something that has apparently turned into some serious smack talk.
Apparently, these two players do not like each other very much, since there was a little moment between the two during warmups ahead of game 5. And let’s just say, they weren’t greeting each other good luck before a fun game. No, this one goes a bit deeper than that.
Malik Monk makes sure Jordan Poole is going to be his primary defender during game 5 of Golden State Warriors vs Sacramento Kings
Jordan Poole and Malik Monk both evidently love trash-talking. So, when they were set up to play one another, sparks were very much expected to fly early in this series. And indeed they are, with the latest installment being seen in the clip in the tweet below by Mark Haynes.

“Guard me”
Coming back to reality for a second here, while both these players are brilliant on the offensive end of things, their struggles to be positive defenders are very well documented. So, it is likely they won’t be actively guarding each other.
But then again, who knows? Maybe this interaction lights a fire under both of them and suddenly, we see this series ascend to heights we could’ve never even imagined going into it, If that were to happen, this would resoundingly be the best first-round series in the history of the NBA.
