Charles Barkley is one of the funniest people in the world. The former NBA superstar turned analyst has been making fans crack up ever since he joined TNT’s Inside The NBA. However, there are times when Chuck ruffles a few feathers with his jokes. Like the women of San Antonio, who demanded an apology. And, Shaquille O’Neal recalled, Sir Charles messed up his “apology” hilariously.

For the longest time, Chuck has had quite a feud with the women of San Antonio. Particularly due to his comments, mocking their city and most importantly insulting them about their looks.

Well, it got to a point where the corporate management from TNT was getting too many complaints. So, they approached Charles and asked him to issue an apology. And, while his co-star Shaq does submit that he is a nice man, Chuck’s apology was far from nice.

The women of San Antonio demanded an apology from Barkley, and as Shaq recalled on The Big Podcast, it was the worst, but the most hilarious apology ever.

“They came in one day and said, ‘Charles, the San Antonio women are upset! We want you to stop!’. He said, ‘Okay, I’ll do an apology!’. And, that man got on TV and said, ‘Uh…I would like to let y’all know…I’m not apologizing to nobody. If you don’t like what I’m saying, don’t watch the show! But hey, I’m telling the truth, San Antonio got some big a** women!'”

Safe to say, the women of San Antonio were not happy. But, they’re probably going to have to learn to live with it. After all, there are one too many jokes about them, and Chuck is sure to have more in the tank.
