Taking A Dig At His Former WWE Rival John Cena, Dwayne Johnson Once Claimed Black Adam Can Kick Peacemaker’s A**
DCEU’s Black Adam may have had a par performance at the box office, but the man who starred in it left no stone unturned. In order to build hype for his dream project, Dwayne Johnson made a lot of effort. From holding promotional events worldwide to taking shots at his fellow superheroes, he did everything. Dwayne Johnson even mocked his former WWE rival John Cena so that fans would buy tickets and watch his superhero flick.
Last year, while promoting the movie, The Great One had a few media interactions in Los Angeles. During one of those conversations, Johnson, in a weird way, kept explaining why Black Adam is better than other DCEU superheroes.
Dwayne Johnson mocked Peacemaker, the DCEU character of John Cena
The Great One thought it was necessary to tell everyone how cool and strong his Black Adam was. According to him, that will make people go and watch the movie. So, he started by targeting nothing but the s*x life of Superman.
Dwayne Johnson claimed his character has had more sex than Superman or any other character. The weird but funny comparisons didn’t stop just there. He felt Black Adam isn’t as popular as Batman or The Flash, despite having a bigger d*ck than them.
Dwayne Johnson then shifted his focus to John Cena or, shall we say, Black Adam on Peacemaker. The Great One claimed his character can kick a** of his former WWE rival’s character. According to Hard Drive, he stated:
“I mean, Black Adam is. He could kick Peacemaker’s a**, that’s for sure.”
The Great One was pretty sure if his superhero character met with that of The Cenation Leader, his one will easily win. Even fans were excited and wanted to see a battle between Dwayne Johnson and John Cena on the silver screen.

Sadly, the sequel of Black Adam was canceled after DCEU had a reboot last year. Although season 2 of Peacemaker is in the works, it’s unlikely that Johnson’s character will appear in that.
The Cenation Leader was roped in to star in a spy thriller produced by The Great One’s Company
Both WWE icons gave two memorable matches in the squared circle in the early 2010s. As for Hollywood, they haven’t shared the screen yet. However, in 2018, Dwayne Johnson announced that John Cena will be starring in “The Janson Directive”, a venture co-produced by Seven Bucks Productions.
Initially, The Great One was supposed to do the role, but he opted out due to date issues. The movie revolves around an ex-Navy Seal and a government agent sent on a high-profile rescue mission. Johnson took to his social media and shared his excitement about working with his former WWE rival.

Nevertheless, as of now, it’s unclear when the movie will hit the floors. In fact, in the last five years, no other details about the project have been publicly revealed.
