Is Lewis Hamilton Actually Dating Shakira?

Over the last few weeks, rumors of seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton dating Shakira have grown strong. Shakira, who is one of the most recognizable artists in the world was in attendance at the Miami GP two weekends ago, where Hamilton drove a brilliant race to finish P6 after starting P13.

Shakira and Hamilton have been close friends for a long time, but after the Miami GP rumors of them being involved in a romantic relationship emerged. These rumors became stronger after pictures of Hamilton and Shakira enjoying a boat ride together surfaced. It wasn’t the only time the two global superstars were spotted together that weekend, however. Hamilton and Shakira attended a dinner party together.

Truth behind Lewis Hamilton-Shakira dating rumors

Despite what most reports and rumors suggest, it is very unlikely that Hamilton and Shakira are in a relationship. Neither Hamilton, nor Shakira have said anything about their relationship status, but fans continue to fuel what is F1’s latest potential love story following the Fernando Alonso-Taylor Swift saga.

Shakira and Hamilton are very close friends, as they have been for years. Over time, they have been spotted at numerous parties, ceremonies, and galas together. However, their being involved in a romantic relationship was never something that either party suggested.

According to The Sun, Hamilton and Shakira are “just friends”. It is reported that the seven-time F1 champion is simply taking time off for himself and his friends (including Shakira) in the one-week break before he heads off to Imola for the next F1 race.

Shakira recently got divorced from FC Barcelona soccer legend Gerard Pique. They married each other in 2011 and separated in June 2022 after the Colombian singer accused Pique of being unfaithful to her. They have two children together, named Milan and Sasha respectively.

Mercedes star’s relationship status: Is Hamilton single?

Hamilton has been involved in several very highly publicized relationships before, with some of them starting and ending as rumors. Even now, the seven-time world champion is choosing to be very secretive about his personal and dating life.

Multiple reports state that he is dating Juliana Nalu currently. Hamilton and Nalu were part of a group that went on a cruise to Antarctica ahead of the start of the former’s 2023 season. Nalu was also present at the 2023 Miami GP and was seen with Hamilton at the Coachella music festival.

Nalu and Hamilton’s reported relationship makes it even less likely that Shakira is romantically involved with the Mercedes star.
