NAVI vs Team Liquid Valorant EMEA UB Semis; Predictions, Head-to-Head, Where to Watch
This article will take a look at the Valorant showdown between Team Liquid and NAVI. The winner qualifies for Masters Tokyo while the loser moves onto the Lower Bracket.
These two teams are undeniably strong heading into the match-up. Team Liquid recently beat Team Vitality in a nail-biting finish with Sayf getting an ace before the 13th round win for Team Liquid. However, NAVI is another demon altogether. Vitality is a strong team, but they are lesser compared to NAVI who have looked dominant in this league run.
The combination of cNed running around fragging with Ange1 calling strats and Shao and Zyppan fragging certainly helps the team. In addition, SUYGETSU’s utility holds down the fort if things go haywire. Of course, even SUYGETSU has a top-tier mechanical aim which make things easy. Let us break down this UB semi’s match where the winner goes to the UB Finals. Check the table out here.

Can Team Liquid win the Rematch against NAVI in the Valorant EMEA UB Semis?
Team Liquid has been the third-best team in the League besides NAVI and FNATIC. However, they have struggled a lot with consistency and putting up round numbers. They even struggle with converting rounds as we saw in yesterday’s match against Vitality. It required heroics from Sayf to get them out of playing overtime and winning the third map.
NAVI on the other hand has looked consistent throughout the tournament. They have lost only to FNATIC and KOI surprisingly at the start of the tournament. Otherwise, they have looked in stellar form. It will be interesting to see what they will come up with against Liquid.
Predictions
We predict that NAVI will win this match 2-1 and go directly into the Finals of the EMEA season. However, Team Liquid is not a team which you can get easy wins against. Expect a clash and a brawl between cNed and Sayf. Both have had their moments in this league. They will look to win over the other in this match-up.
Head-To-Head
These teams have faced each other many times over the course of Valorant Esports. They have faced each other 5 times and Liquid has won that encounter 3 of those times. Can NAVI equalize these numbers and make it 3-3 in this match-up? We will have to wait and see.
