The event began with The Guard facing T1. While The Guard looked quite good in the early rounds of the first half, the later rounds were easily taken back by T1 as they took the first map, Pearl. The Guard bounced back and beat T1 on Fracture for the second map win as the Decider was Ascent. The Guard did the same thing from the first map but easily held their own and won the match.

Then it was Sentinels vs. TSM. Sentinels comfortably took both of the maps from the hands of TSM as TenZ switched his role from a Duelist to playing Kay/o in the first map but back to Jett on the second. Next was a BO1 with Sentinels vs. The Guard which went into Overtime. However, The Guard got the win against Sentinels to qualify for the finals.

The last match of the day was TSM against T1. The winner of this would advance to the Lower Bracket Final and the loser would be eliminated. TSM won the game and now will face Sentinels in the Lower Bracket Finals. There will also be an exhibition match between Ludwig and Tarik’s team before the finals.
