After Getting Backed by $800,000,000 Man Dwayne Johnson, UFC Star Wins Hearts of MMA Veterans With ‘Incredible’ Work
Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest names in the entertainment business. He had a significant role in the attitude era of wrestling. Despite his departure from commercial wrestling, ‘The Rock’ kept himself in the public eye with his Hollywood career. He is currently one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors, with an estimated net worth of $800 million. However, coming from humble beginnings, the ex-WWE superstar has not let fame and fortune get to his head, a characteristic that many admire.
Staying true to that nature, the Hollywood actor recently offered to financially assist a UFC welterweight fighter in the early stages of his career. Soon after, the UFC fighter undertook charitable work for his community, earning acclaim from UFC veterans Michael Bisping and Anthony Smith.

Soon after this, Gorimbo auctioned off his fight shorts from UFC Vegas 73 and used the proceeds to help others. Talking about the same on the Believe You Me podcast, Michael Bisping and Anthony Smith praised the UFC star. Bisping said,
“After getting a shout-out from ‘The Rock’, he managed to auction off his fighting shorts for five thousand dollars, which he used then to build a well for safe drinking water for his village in Zimbabwe.”
In response to the story, Anthony Smith said:
“That’s crazy. How incredible. How incredible.”
It’s interesting to see how Gorimbo has quickly become an inspiration to many individuals. After earning so much attention, fight fans will undoubtedly follow his UFC journey.
