Dallas Rookie CeeDee Lamb Changes Lives With $50,000 Home Repair Gift For Family
CeeDee Lamb knows what it’s like to have a house in disrepair. So putting some of his $14 million to good use, he helped out a family in need with their own house. The Cowboys WR showed his charitable side recently, helping out the Dallas family by gifting them $50,000 in house repairs.
The Dawit family was in a bad place with their home. They had problems with “unstable floors, holes in their windows, and broken bathrooms”, as this was their first home in the US.
“I’ve been in your shoes before,” Lamb said to the family on a phone call, as per SportsIllustrated. “My home has been damaged before… I am happy for you guys and it is the least that I can do.”
Teslot Dawit, daughter of the family, had submitted the house to her Boys and Girls Club for renovation. CeeDee Lamb, a member of the Boys and Girls Club, was able to reach out and help. Lamb surprised them via a virtual call, with a framed note, $50,000, and a signed jersey. Additionally, he generously invited them to a game at the AT&T Center to watch the Cowboys play.
Lamb’s rookie deal will be ending soon, and he will definitely be looking to get a pay raise from Dallas. He’s shown he can be the top receiver in the group for Dallas, and he has a lot of potential. With his pay raise, Lamb will continue to provide charitable endeavors for many more people in need.
Lamb Will Look to Turn In a Monster Season
In the hopes of completing more donations and charity work for families, Lamb will be banking on another great year. After just missing out on 1,000 yards in his rookie season, Lamb has put up back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons since then.

He is a finished product, and now, he can truly escalate his game beyond what we’ve seen. He’s made some ridiculous catches, is one of the best route-runners in the league, and has safe hands. One more good year, and he’ll have a big contract on his hands to help more people out.
