Deion Sanders Proudly Declares Himself As the Best College Football Coach
Coach Prime has not just declared but also displayed why he is arguably the best coach in college football right now. His vision and his authoritative presence have led a team that was 1-11 last season to a 3-0 season start. However, Prime’s influence is not just limited to the gridiron, but he has also made a huge economic impact on Boulder.
“Let me see a mirror so I can look at it,” Sanders said. “You think I’m gonna sit up here and tell you somebody else? You think that’s the way I operate, that somebody else got that on me?”
His confidence speaks volumes about how he is leading the Buffaloes to a spectacular season. The answer was so bold and upfront that it even impressed Shaquille O’Neal. The NBA legend put the extract from the interview on his Instagram story acknowledging his dominance in NCAA football.
Coach Prime Gives Due Respect to Nick Saban
Despite Deion Sanders‘ bold and daring response, he fell humble when talking about the legendary Alabama coach Nick Saban. He stated that he has learned so much from him yet he has so much knowledge to receive from the seven-time National Champion HC.

“I love and I adore and I respect and every time I do a commercial with Coach Saban, it’s a gift,” Coach Prime said. “Sitting in his presence and hearing him and throwing something else out there so I can hear his viewpoint on it because he’s forgotten more things than I may ever accomplish. So I’m a student looking up to this wonderful teacher saying, ‘Just throw me a crumb of what you know.'”
That said, Deion Sanders has certainly learned from the best which made him so effective as a coach. Many believe that he is on a path to create a dynasty in Colorado similar to what Coach Saban has done with Alabama which will be interesting to see happen.
