Ferrari make another personnel change before 2019 season
Ferrari have been ringing in the changes for the all important 2019 season, focussing on bringing in the correct people to rectify all that went wrong during that 2018 challenge.
Ferrari had worked hard to put together a car that had a lot of promise with respect to performance and pace.
However, mistakes from the strategy team and from the drivers(Vettel in particular) meant that Ferrari couldn’t take advantage of that increase in performance.
The higher management wanted to get rid of all the issues before the 2019 season and have acted accordingly.
With respect to Arrivabene’s position in the team, there was a massive power struggle that Ferrari were experiencing, as the work force wanted Binotto at the helm of things.
Another change at Ferrari:
Alberto Antonini has left Scuderia Ferrari (he was the press officer of the team). He was loyal to former team principal Arrivabene, so that should be no surprise.

Excellent news for the Scuderia, personally I am looking forward to working with Silvia on behalf of @C4F1 to deliver for the @ScuderiaFerrari fans and the wider @F1 fans https://t.co/gaqgo2sWuF

Now, post Arrivabene’s exit, Ferrari’s press officer, Alberto Antonini has too left the team, according to a report from Italian journalist, Leo Turrini.
Silvia Hoffer Frangipane would be replacing Antonini, having already worked with Fernando Alonso in the communications role.
Frangipane had a good relationship with Arrivabene and thus decided to leave post his sacking.
