LeBron James trolls Dwyane Wade after his one-footed game winner against Warriors
LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have enjoyed a wonderful relationship with each other all through their careers, having won two NBA titles in Miami.
With Wade having announced his retirement following the ongoing NBA season, LeBron James has been more vocal about his relationship with Wade and how the duo have progressed through the years.
During the All-Star weekend, the duo got involved in a ‘Miami like’ alley-oop dunk, with Wade lobbing it up for James to dunk it home.
Now, as fate may have it, both these legends ended up hitting a one-legged three point shot in the dying minutes of the game to win it for their team last night.
Wade did it against the Warriors, while James did it against the Pelicans.
Wade was driving in with Miami two points adrift, but he wasn’t given space two and hence had to come out to the perimeter. He then ended up giving a pass to Dion Waiters, who passed it back to Wade with 5 seconds on the clock. Wade’s first shot got blocked, but he luckily got the ball back and just threw it up, only for it to go in in emphatic fashion.

Now, LeBron James too dished out a one-footed 3 point shot today, beating the shot clock in the dying seconds of the 4th quarter.
He too went in for a drive but was forced to the perimeter. He then took a swivel on one foot, turned back and shot a good 3 to bank it home.
Technique wise, LeBron’s 3 was better than Wade’s, but according to the match situation, Wade’s was 100 times better than what LeBron had pulled off.

In a post match interview with ESPN, LeBron James joked that his shot was better than Wade’s.
“Mine was a little bit more difficult than his,” James said, with a smile of course
“His was weird. I don’t know if that was even a shot. You know how you play pop-a-shot? He had to, because he had no time, but I think my shot was more difficult.” he added.

Wade was ecstatic after he made his shot and credited Kobe Bryant for helping in instilling the ‘Mamba mentality in him’. Kobe had hit a similar shot over Wade a few years back, and Wade admitted that he did learn a thing or two from that shot.
Wade is on his way to retirement and this win against the Warriors would be one of the most cherished memories of his stellar career.
