Nick Sirianni Has a Clear Message for Saquon Barkley Before Giants Game
Nick Sirianni and his Eagles have a relatively straightforward game ahead when they take on the Giants. However, the matchup will take place at MetLife Stadium, the same place where Sirianni’s star running back, Saquon Barkley, called home for six long years. He didn’t exactly leave on the best of terms either.
Thus, it’s safe to assume that ’emotions’ will be running high this weekend. However, the Eagles’ head coach has the solutions to Barkley’s challenges.
In a pre-game interview with NFL on ESPN, Sirianni emphasized that Barkley should focus on being himself this weekend, stating that if his emotions help in the matchup, he should embrace them. If not, he should let them go.
“Just be you (Saquon). If the emotions of the game help you perform, use it… If they don’t, flush it.”

The Eagles are currently 3-2 and a loss against their divisional rival could mean that they are no longer a worthy playoff contender. So, along with Saquon, the team has a lot to prove this weekend.
