TNT Title receives new design at AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest

TNT Title receives new design at AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest. This is the fourth look the title has had in just over a year of its existence.

The TNT Championship was established on March 30, 2020. In under a year and a half, the title has now sported four different looks. The latest design debuted on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest by current champion Miro.

He cut a promo about a hero who was once lost because he was not being himself. He looked back at his time in AEW and announced that the TNT title was his reward before proclaiming himself as “The Redeemer” and showed off the new title featuring a white strap with green on the main title plate.

Interestingly, AEW has had four TNT title holders, all of whom are associated with the various incarnations of the title. Cody Rhodes, being the inaugural champion, is naturally associated with the original version of the title.

The Red Strap title was later plated gold, as was originally intended before the pandemic halted plans. That version of the title would go on to become associated with the late Mr. Brodie Lee and was retired after his untimely passing.

Darby Allin, the third champion, unveiled the new design which was overall similar to the previous but on a black leather strap as opposed to red.

And Miro has now replaced the old TNT Title’s appearance with white strap and green on the main title plate.

We’ll have to see if AEW plans on altering that title for each new champion. But so far, it does give them the uniqueness of having a custom title for every holder, even if it was never intended to be that way from the start.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
