Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal accelerate bid to £55 million plus player deal on loan for Wilfried Zaha

Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal accelerated bid for Wilfried Zaha to £55 million plus Reiss Nelson, but Crystal Palace are still not convinced.

Arsenal are targeting to land Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace this summer, as the Gunners seek to bolster their squad ahead of the next season.

In recent advancements, according to a report by the Independent, Arsenal have upgraded their offer for Zaha to £55 million plus Reiss Nelson to replace the Ivorian International on temporary basis.

However, Crystal Palace are not convinced with the offer and want more, if the North London club need his services. Even though the Eagles are interested in the young prospect offered by Arsenal.

Another alternative is Bukayo Saka, but Crystal Palace don’t see the deal as anywhere near good enough for a player of such standing. The sources disclose that Crystal Palace are demanding £80 million cash for Zaha.

But Arsenal doesn’t have enough financial resources to complete the move. On the other hand, Zaha is pressurizing the club to finalize the negotiations as he wants to make a move out of the club.

Thus, it is reported that Sources close to the situation feel Arsenal need to up the guaranteed cash, and also send a player the other on a permanent deal, to go with one of the loans. Carl Jenkinson is being mooted as the possible player to be involved.

The North London club are also facing a possibility of losing Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang from the squad this season, as he is receiving offers. Thus, it is necessary for Arsenal to capture Zaha soon to prevent further depletion in the front line.
