Giannis did a little bit of everything with a crazy stat line: 32 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 blocks, 2 steals. He was ably supported by the bench squad led by George Hill and Pat Connaughton, which totaled 42 points, massively outscoring the Celtics bench who scored a total of just 16 points with 10 from Gordon Hayward and 6 from Sami Ojeleye.
Terry Rozier who will be looking for a starting gig this summer scored just 0 points in his 14 minutes, with 0 assists and 1 rebound. That is not a good look for the Celtics team that needs Kyrie to be at his absolute best to win games against a Bucks team that has Giannis on a tear in the paint while the rest of the squad is breathing fire from the 3 point line.
George Hill and Pat Connaughton have both been excellent value for money priced at way lower than the bigger names than the likes of Bledsoe and Khris Middleton who are barely breaking even at 2PPC which is the minimum expected return, with Bledsoe not even coming close to that figure in this series.
For Boston Kyrie has been on and off but he has the potential to be the highest scorer of any game, and much of Boston’s hopes remain on his shoulders. Al Horford is another important figure for Boston to match up against Giannis both on offense and defense. Jaylen Brown has been arguably the third best player on the Celtics behind Kyrie and Al Horford and he has been its most consistent in this series for the Celtics and he has also been excellent in consistently dunking on Giannis, not a minor feat by any means. His low price of 10.5 Cr is also excellent for D11 managers.
In injury news, both Marcus Smart and Malcolm Brogdon might be making a return. How many minutes they play and how much impact they have will be crucial in this series as both players are major pieces that the two teams have been playing without so far.
