Braun Strowman: Real reason why WWE Superstar was pulled from WWE Money in the Bank ladder match.

Last night on Raw, Braun Strowman took on Sami Zayn in a no-disqualification match.  His place at The Money in the Bank was at stake. While Strowman dominated the match early on, he was ambushed by the Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin. The duo, seeing an easier opponent in Sami, decided to help him in his match against the monster among men. Strowman fought valiantly but eventually succumbed to the numbers game. Sami Zayn stole his spot at money in the bank.

There have been murmurs that Braun is still being punished for forgetting his spots at this year’s Wrestlemania.  However, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, this is part of a storyline that will play out in the next month or so.

Meltzer also reported that the monster among men is currently working through an injury. Although this has nothing to do with his removal from the Money in the Bank match. There is no word on the injury or it’s extent but it’s likely a biceps or triceps injury. Braun has seemingly been working with the injury for a while now and it’s not serious enough for him to take time off.

It will be interesting to see where this leads to. Could Strowman make an appearance at Money in the Bank and cause an interference? We will have to wait for Sunday to find our answers.

Money in the Bank will take place on May 19, 2019, at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
