Ahmedabad Weather Right Now: CSK vs GT IPL Final 2023 Rain Update of Narendra Modi Stadium

First things first, it is not raining in Ahmedabad right now. Although it was predicted that rain would make its presence felt in the city between 04:00 PM (local time) to 06:00 PM, rain gods have been pretty lenient ahead of Indian Premier League 2023 final which has been now rescheduled to a reserve day.

Taking into consideration how the originally scheduled day for the last match of the ongoing 16th season of the biggest T20 league in the world ended up becoming a logistical nightmare especially for fans, one would really hope for no more weather interruptions ahead of the fifth IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans.

Readers must note that it is for the first time in the history of the IPL that a final clash has ended up getting postponed to the subsequent day.

Ahmedabad Weather Right Now

It will require a turnaround of the highest level for weather to cause frequent delays to IPL 2023 final tonight. With no signs of rain over the Narendra Modi Stadium at the moment, one expects a smooth flow of proceedings for whatever is left in the day.

This expectation is backed by the below mentioned hourly rain update which confirms an affirmative picture for the fans as there’s no rain prediction whatsoever during the playing hours. While these hourly rain updates are from AccuWeather, even BBC Weather forecasts somewhat similar state of affairs.

Assuming that the current weather ditches these predictions at some point of time during the match, it shouldn’t rain to an extent that the match is shortened to a large extent. Hence, fans can be rest assured about watching an IPL final for the first time on a Monday night.
