Happy Birthday wishes to MS Dhoni: CSK, Hardik Pandya, Suresh Raina and others post best birthday wishes on Dhoni's 40th birthday

Happy Birthday wishes to MS Dhoni: The legendary Indian cricketer has been receiving plentiful wishes on his 40th birthday since midnight.

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has turned 40 today. Dhoni, who has bountiful loyal fans, has been receiving heartfelt wishes since midnight. Considering that this is his first birthday as a retired international cricketer, Dhoni continued to enjoy the love of his fans.

To receive such kind of admiration from fans despite being a former player speaks highly about the legendary wicket-keeper batsman; something which records and numbers can’t elucidate.

Dhoni was last seen on the cricket field leading Chennai Super Kings in the defunct 14th season of the Indian Premier League earlier this year. With IPL 2021 set to resume in Abu Dhabi in September, fans across the world will once again get to witness the sight of Dhoni playing cricket.

In his 538 international appearances for India, Dhoni had amassed 17,266 runs at an average and strike rate of 44.96 and 79.07 respectively. In addition to scoring 16 centuries and 108 half-centuries, Dhoni also has the record of third-most dismissals (829) for a wicket-keeper across formats.

Dhoni, who will go down as one of the most impact-generating cricket captains in cricket, had led India on a gargantuan 332 times (60 Tests, 200 ODIs and 72 T20Is) across formats.

What followed for an 8-year-old was an instant adulation for both Ganguly and the sport. The optimist in him is waiting for the day when Punjab Kings will win their maiden Indian Premier League title. When not watching cricket, he is mostly found in a cinema hall watching a Punjabi movie.
