It is worth mentioning that there is no official scheduled event at a given venue per se regarding the Retention List. However, Star Network will broadcast a special feature program named “IPL Retention Special 2021” in India.
Alongside renowned host Jatin Sapru, the program is highly likely to feature a few former Indian cricketers or IPL support staff to discuss the rationale behind the decisions made by various franchises.
Given the importance of the day when teams will reveal the list of retained players, Star Network is expected to televise their feature segment across numerous channels namely Star Sports 1, Star Sports 3, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 HD (both English and Hindi) and Star Sports First.
In addition to the aforementioned channels, expect the segment to also run on a couple of regional channels. Online users can stream the matches on Star’s streaming application named Disney+Hotstar. It is worth mentioning that the match won’t be available on any other streaming platform in India.
