RR vs GT Head to Head Record in IPL History

Two of the most successful teams since the start of Indian Premier League 2022, IPL 2023 runners-up Rajasthan Royals and champions Gujarat Titans will clash against one another at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on a Friday night.

Having won the first three matches in this rivalry, GT had ended up on the losing side at their home ground last month. The match is fondly remembered for the visiting team sealing a 178-run chase in a last-over thriller. Individual half-centuries by captain Sanju Samson and batter Shimron Hetmyer had paved way for a 3-wicket victory.

RR, however, will be hosting Titans for the first time in IPL 2023 Match 48. Separated by a couple of points on the table at this point in time, the hosts and visitors will be entering the venue as the fourth and first-ranked teams respectively. That being said, these position could change depending on the result of a match between a couple of in-form sides.

Barring the first-ever Gujarat-Rajasthan encounter, all the remaining three matches have been won by the team chasing a target. Having said that, the first two league matches of the season in Jaipur were won by the team batting first.
