Venkatesh Iyer Girlfriend Name: Is KKR Batter Dating a Telugu Actress?

Despite being a two-time Indian Premier League champion, and having roped in some of the most talented and destructive batters from over the world over the years in their squad, Kolkata Knight Riders had only one centurion in the 15 complete years of its existence so far in Brendon McCullum. However, there was one more addition to the list tonight, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

After McCulllum smashed a swashbuckling ton on the very first IPL match in the year 2008, it took almost exactly 15 year for a Venkatesh Iyer to score a second century for the franchise.

Playing his third IPL season, Iyer smashed his maiden ton in the league today against Mumbai Indians, reaching the landmark off mere 49 deliveries, while also becoming the second centurion of the ongoing 16th season after Sunrisers Hyderabad‘s Harry Brook.

His innings eventually ended at the score of 104 (51), with the knock comprising 6 Fours and 9 Sixes.

As far as his personal life is concerned, the 28-year-old might have perhaps found his love interest, or at least that is what the fans believe so.

During the previous IPL season, a small, yet ‘cute’ interaction between him and the popular Telugu cinema actor Priyanka Jawalkar sparked rumours amongst both their fans that the two might perhaps be dating each other.

Jawalkar posted a rather adorable picture of her in April last year, bearing the caption “Boo” followed by the cute ghost emoji.

In the comments section, Iyer replied “Cute”, after which she replied, “Who? You?”.

This was all the interaction that the two had on just one of Jawalkar’s pictures, which was deemed enough by the fans to conclude that their alleged love relationship might well be blossoming. However, the duo have not officially paid any heed to such rumours since then.
