With three centuries in his last five ODI innings, former Indian captain, Virat Kohli, looks to have finally found his groove back and being able to do what he does best – piling on runs under his belt on a consistent basis.

Having smashed his 46th ODI century during the third ODI versus Sri Lanka at Thiruvananthapuram a few days ago, Kohli now finds himself just four tons short of going past the legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 centuries in the format.
Despite it being the year of the ODI World Cup, Kohli must be itching to score big in the Test format, where he most recently fared up poorly against Bangladesh in the two-match away series. To brush it up, he scored his last Test century in November 2019 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
However, with the kind of form that he is in at present, there could not be a better opportunity for the star batter to end his Test century drought during the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy, commencing February 9.
