Eden Hazard: Date announced for Chelsea superstar transfer to Real Madrid as Eden Hazard set to leave Stamford Bridge.

Zinedine Zidane is reportedly set to land Eden Hazard from Chelsea as the Belgian International is ready to leave the London based club this summer.

According to a report by L’Equipe, an agreement between the two clubs over the transfer of Hazard was made a few weeks ago, with a colossal price set at around €100 million.

It is further reported that Los Blancos will reveal the signing after Chelsea plays their last match of the season in the Europa league final against Arsenal.

It is known that Real Madrid are set to do a squad overhaul and Hazard is their prime target. Real Madrid have suffered after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo last season.

Therefore, Zidane intends to fill the void by signing the 28-year-old player as he has the potential to replace the Portuguese sensation.

Presently, the Real Madrid manager is focusing at several reinforcements and reportedly plans to land five mega-stars this summer in order to regain the club’s glory days.

Whereas, Hazard also gave hints about his departure, after yesterday’s game against Leicester City on the final day of the Premier league.

“I have made my decision but it is not just about me, I told the club a couple of weeks ago.” Hazard said, per the Daily Mail.

“I wanted it to be cleared up earlier but that’s not happened. I’m still waiting, like the fans are waiting.” he further said.

On the other hand, Chelsea are reluctant to convince Hazard to stay further and have started looking for suitable replacements for the Belgian International.

Hence, it seems that Real Madrid is about to wrap up the services of Eden Hazard. However, the confirmed details of the transfer is yet to be received.
