Does recent Instagram activity point to Pietro Fittipaldi replacing Nikita Mazepin at Haas?

There has been movement in the Instagram bio of both drivers, pointing towards Pietro Fittipaldi replacing Nikita Mazepin at Haas?

The #WeSayNoToMazepin saga has fresh development, in the form of Instagram bio activity. While Nikita Mazepin has removed ‘F1’ from his bio, Pietro Fittipaldi has added ‘Haas’ to his. Couple this with boss Guenther Steiner suggesting Fittipaldi is ready for F1, we could potentially see Mazepin sacked and Fittipaldi announced in the next few days.

Nikita Mazepin has been in the eye of the storm ever since a video of him groping a female friend appeared on social media. The friend, Andrea D’Ival initially played it down, calling it a joke.  Mazepin had captioned the story, calling D’Ival ‘the best.’ She later issued a clarification on Instagram, apologizing for the fiasco.

‘Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that Nikita and I have been friends for a long time and nothing in the video was meant seriously. We trust each other and it’s just been fun between the two of us. I posted the video as a joke in his story. I’m really sorry.’

Nikita Mazepin vs SJWs

But ‘Social Justice Warriors’ or SJWs, as they are known on social media, brought the #WeSayNoToMazepin to fruition. This has evidently put pressure on Haas, with Steiner confirming an internal investigation is on against Mazepin. He did, however, add that the details of it will be kept private.

Soon after the storm, Mazepin had released a statement, apologizing for his behavior. The Russian is the son of billionaire Dmitry Mazepin, who has been brought in as an investor to Haas. This played a vital role in the American team going for an all-rookie pairing next season, with F2 champion Mick Schumacher joining ranks.
