F1 Villain Max Verstappen Displays a New Side With Uncharacteristic Antic on Stream

Despite being the defending two-time world champion, Max Verstappen is always considered to be arrogant by some. For things on and off the track, the Dutchman has earned himself a reputation, which holds him to be rude even when he’s not.

Admittedly, the 2018 and 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix incidents, when he pushed Esteban Ocon and didn’t let Sergio Perez pass, gave him a reputation for being the ‘villain’.

However, there are instances when he showed the world the exact opposite of what he’s often regarded as. There are people who know him personally and can vouch for him to say what a down-to-earth human being he is.

From having adorable moments with Kelly Piquet’s daughter Penelope to being roasted for typing like a T-rex by his friends on the stream, Verstappen knows how to take jokes.

Max Verstappen displays a new side of him

According to a resurfaced video uploaded by one of Max Verstappen‘s fan pages on Instagram, the Dutchman is seen taking part in an interview with a fan.

There in the video, the fan mentions she is with the “fastest guy on the planet” in a car as she begins to record the footage. The Dutchman who’s sitting right behind her thinks about the statement for a second before he comes up with humility.

Replying to the fan, he said,

“Well, we still don’t know. There are still a lot of unknown people out there who have never touched a racing car. But it’s okay.

This not only impressed the fan but also showed he can be really humble on any given day.

Verstappen isn’t a ‘bad boy’ after all

Even though there are perceptions of the defending champion being a ‘bad boy’ or a villain, Lando Norris’ renowned friend Max Fewtrell isn’t at all a believer of that.

As per a recently surfaced video, Fewtrell said that the Red Bull star is a super chill guy and a “really nice bloke.” People who call him arrogant have never spent time with him, he asserted.

Following this, the former F4 driver also added that it’s just the media that paints a wrong picture of him with some angry snippets and cut-out radios. But in reality, Max Verstappen is far from being a ‘villain’.
