Max Verstappen Sprint Race Start: Watch Red bull superstar have inferno start at Silverstone

Max Verstappen Sprint Race Start: Red Bull’s Max Verstappen had his qualifying redemption in the sprint race; Pole start for Sunday.

Max Verstappen strikes back at Lewis Hamilton to earn back his pole start for the race on Sunday, as things initially looked positive for Mercedes after a blockbuster qualifying on Friday.

But a fiery start by Verstappen in the sprint race took all the glory away from Hamilton, who himself had a poor start at his home circuit. Verstappen led all the 17 laps and bagged three points.

Meanwhile, Mercedes managed to equal the number of points obtained from this session, with P2 and P3 gave two and a one-point respectively, which were sealed by Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas sequentially.

Nevertheless, Verstappen had a comprehensive start to his sprint race and life the Briton without any answer. The fire was rolling out, and he only waited for the lights to go out before going all wild.

Can’t wait for Sunday

Even if Verstappen led himself to a pole start for Sunday, Mercedes still has a chance to clear off some deficit in the constructors’ championship, as Sergio Perez rolled himself down to the P18 after the dramatic spin in the middle of the session.

Though, Perez cannot be predicted, as, in the last two years, he has shown he can recover from initial debacles. But it is still a golden chance for Mercedes to put some pressure on.

Meanwhile, McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo displayed a brilliant performance and would be starting from p6, but their biggest nemesis this season- Ferrari would be launching Charles Leclerc from P4.
