Ferrari on Mercedes' flexing rear wing

Ferrari on Mercedes’ flexing rear wing: Arrivabene raises concerns over the rear wing and asks FIA to look into it.

Ferrari’s performance advantage this year has raised quite a few eyebrows, with Mercedes even urging the FIA to check for the legality of that Ferrari package.

The FIA did conduct a preliminary investigation into it, but found everything to be pretty normal and within regulations.

Mercedes have constantly hinted at Ferrari bending the rules a little in order to gain this performance advantage, however, nothing of the sort has been proven yet.

Hamilton and Wolff have also been guilty of raising questions about Ferrari’s ‘interesting tactics’ on the race track, when twice in two races a Ferrari took out a Mercedes.

Even after the Belgian GP, Hamilton had suggested that Ferrari were using tricks in order to get that package to work how it was at the moment.

Hamilton though later clarified his comments and confirmed that he in no way was suggesting that Ferrari were doing anything illegal.

Now, Ferrari have come up with a complaint of their own. Arrivabene spoke about the Mercedes’ flexing rear wing, one that was flexing a little too much.

Arrivabene took a dig at Mercedes and the FIA, saying that the FIA needs to do their job and now look into this .

He emphasised on the fact that Ferrari have had to do a lot of the answering and maybe it was Mercedes’ turn now.

“That’s the FIA’s job, not ours. We are already busy to answer to all the questions they ask us every race. But yes, we noticed it. Let’s see if also the FIA will notice it” Arrivabene said.

How do you think Mercedes and FIA would react to it?
