Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded Patch Notes are live, and they are introducing buffs and nerfs that are bound to shake things up in the meta.

Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded is set to start off with a bang as the patch notes introduce us to new bundles, weapons, and weapon tweaks. Activision makes changes to weapons every patch, so there is no definite go-to-weapon in the meta. However, people still have favorite picks that they use no matter what, according to their comfort.

The newest patch brings varieties of new content to Warzone, such as the Fort Resurgence mode and multiple new weapons like the Lachmann Shroud and the Daemon 9mm pistol. However, the patch notes also give us some important weapon changes in the game that we need to be aware of. Let us take a look at them.

Activision has made some core changes to ARs and BRs in the multiplayer mode. These changes are going to shake up the meta a little. However, there are specific changes to most weapon classes when it comes to Warzone only.

This might indicate that Activision wants to promote the usage of more weapon categories rather than just SMGs and Assault Rifles. Let us take a look at the weapon changes with MW2 and Warzone 2. After that, we will hop onto weapons that have changes in Warzone 2 only.

Weapons With Changes in MW2 and Warzone 2

The devs made major changes to Sniper Rifles, ARs, and Shotguns to increase their usability in MW2. There are changes to certain SMGs as well. Moreover, the Marksman Rifles have also been reworked as they have been in the dark for quite a while. Let us look at the changes.

There are minimal changes to the SMGs which means the meta around them will mostly stay the same. However, there can be an increase in the Fennec 45 and Bas-P pick rates, as they have been unused for a while.

On the other hand, the Cronen Squall received a heavy nerf, which means it will be out of the meta for a while. Lastly, the ARs have been balanced out, which means we might see some dark horses emerge out of the meta after quite a while.

That is all you need to know about the weapon changes and balances in the latest Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded patch. For more Warzone 2 content and weapon guides, click here.
