January has been full of CS:GO roster changes, and the latest one comes courtesy of HEET. The French CS:GO project rose from the ashes of DBL Poney and managed to compete in tier-2 events. However, after a long period of middling results, it seems that the team has made a change. Former G2 member, Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro, along with teammate Aurélien “afro” Drapier will be leaving the squad.

A statement by HEET on Twitter revealed that both bodyy and afro would be leaving the project:
“We want to thank Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro for numerous amazing moments, crazy calls, and split-second decisions. We hope we will never be in his way behind that wall or a smoke! We would also love to thank Aurélien “afro” Drapier for incredible highlights and crazy quick scopes. Let’s just hope we will never be under his scope. We wish these ponies, good luck in their bright future and winning a lot of trophies.”
This leaves the HEET roster with the following members:
- Pierre “Ex3rcice” Bulinge
- Audric “JACKZ” Jug
- Thomas “Djoko” Pavoni
- Matthieu “matHEND” Roquigny (coach)
The French CS:GO scene is going through a massive shakeup. Earlier this month, shox announced that he too was building a CS:GO squad with the intention of qualifying for the BLAST Paris Major. Additionally, bodyy’s status as a free agent has invited speculation that he may join the ‘Falcons’ project. If this goes through, he is expected to replace Jordan “Python” Munck-Foehrle. He would also be joining up with former teammates, kennyS, NBK, and hAdji.
