MrBeast, the king of YouTube content, is known for doing things that sometimes go beyond the realm of normalcy. He has ways of going above and beyond for his videos. He once revealed how much income tax he had to pay, and fans are just amazed.
In the last decade that he has been on YouTube, MrBeast has changed the game when it comes to creating videos on YouTube. Fans have been enjoying his content so much that his views are increasing, even on older videos.
MrBeast paid THIS much for taxes at one point in time
Over the last decade, fans of the YouTube king have seen a significant change in the kind of content he has been posting. This has led to people thinking how much does MrBeast make in a year. While MrBeast has not talked about his income a lot, he opened up about the money side of his business during the H3 podcast.
Every cent MrBeast earns from his videos gets counted when it comes to taxes. Considering that MrBeast could be valued at $100 million in 2023, he could pay as much as $211,208,864. But there might be a catch…
MrBeast explained two scenarios.
He explained that videos in which he is giving away money are the ones that get the most amount of viewership numbers. He said, “If you’re not giving away $100,000, people aren’t watching your videos.”
Second scenario he explained was a bit more complicated. He said the things he gives away as gifts are taxable. He asserted that he has to pay taxes on the gifts he is giving. Either he pays, or the one receiving the gifts would be entitled to pay gifts.
He said: “That’s where it makes things a little weird on me because if I make them pay taxes on stuff then I look like a piece of sh-t, but if I pay taxes on it on something that’s already not profitable.”
The amount he gives away in tax is huge, but then, with big money comes a greater responsibility.
