Updated Xbox Game Pass catalog for April 2023: 5 games leaving soon

Microsoft’s subscription-based game catalog, Xbox Game Pass will be receiving an update in two weeks. Recently, a bunch of high-profile titles like Minecraft Legends were added as launch-day titles, sweetening the deal. However, older additions will be removed soon as well. As per recent findings, five titles will be removed, making way for new additions like Redfall next month. Here’s a list of all changes.

Destroy All Humans and 4 others leaving Xbox Game Pass come May 1, 2023

Games leaving Game Pass on May 1, 2023:

  • Bugsnax
  • Destroy All Humans!
  • Dragon Quest Builders 2
  • Tetris Effect: Connected
  • Unsouled

Yesterday, Game Pass lost a couple more games including:

  • Life is Strange: True Colors
  • Moonglow Bay
  • Panzer Corps 2
  • The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos
  • The Long Dark
  • The Riftbreaker
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

Before exiting Game Pass, players can choose to buy any of the titles for a 20% discount. Buying games permanently adds them to players’ Xbox libraries, regardless of Game Pass validity. Additionally, a bunch of new titles will be added this week to offset the departing games. Of these, Minecraft Legends is one of the most prolific, with Dead Island 2 coming later on.
