A week after the release of GTA Online Los Santos Drug Wars, players have found all there is to know about the newest business opportunity in the game. The Acid Lab is the latest business addition and players can make a fair amount of cash from it. While not as profitable as other businesses, the Acid Lab is arguably ‘lower effort’ and provides decent profit. Here’s how players can maximize their gains from the Acid Lab.
What is the Acid Lab in GTA Online and how much is the payout?
In a nutshell, the Acid Lab is a mobile property that players can use to run their Acid Business. Here are all the main takeaways:
- Acid Labs are relatively cheap coming in at GTA $750,000
- A $250,000 upgrade can be unlocked after completing 10 Fooligan Jobs
- Complete stock of supplies costs $60,000
- The rate of product generation can be boosted once daily
- Non-boosted production: 6 hours without upgrade, 4 hours with upgrade
- Boosted production: 4.5 hours without upgrade, 3 hours with upgrade
- Full payout: GTA$237,500 to GTA$335,200 (if the upgrade is purchased)
- Delivery missions are fairly straightforward and only require one vehicle
Much like the Biker Businesses, players must keep supplies in stock to create the product. Once the product is ready, players can embark on a sell mission to bank their cash. Unlike the tedious Post-Op vans/Garbage Truck sell missions, players can easily sell their product with just one vehicle.
Another huge advantage is that this business cannot be raided. Unlike the MC Businesses, players don’t need to keep disbanding their clubs to prevent raids. Perhaps one of the biggest benefits of the Acid Lab in GTA Online is that it can be restocked over the phone. Players do not need to make their way to the Lab to purchase supplies.
Much like earlier updates, stealing supplies yields more profit but those looking to keep the Acid Lab as passive income will want to purchase supplies. By utilizing the mobile Acid Lab, players can manage their business from anywhere on the map.
