Hogwarts Legacy gameplay showcase 2 deep dives into the wizarding world

While the initial showcase focused on what happened inside the castle, the second one is focused on what happened outside the four walls. Besides that, we see some spells and some broom action. Here is all that we saw in the second showcase.

While exploring the world outside the castle, the in-game characters have to use the brooms, which can be upgraded. That is not just it, players will also get to make cosmetic changes to their skins. The brooms help the characters fly high in the sky, but as it seems, staying close to the ground has its advantages.

Players will also be mythical creatures like the Onyx Hippogriff mount and could easily re-create the Prisoner of Azkaban scene where Harry rides Buckbeak, defying the notion of it being an unfriendly creature.

One part of the wizarding world that intrigues everyone the most is the usage of Unforgivable Curses. Fans were able to witness Avada Kedavra, Crucio, and Imperio. While these curses that true to their nature from the franchise, Avada Kedavra kills enemies in one blow. To combat that, the cool-down time of the curse is long.

It was rather remarkable that the developers were able to incorporate these spells in the game knowing the dark side. That’s what adds to the charm of Hogwarts, right?

Enter Room of Requirement

While exploring the game further ahead, players will see the Room of Requirement. Here, fans also get to see the Vivarium within the Room of Requirement where they see the magical Moreover they rescued.

Morever, players can also brush, feed, and name the beasts they save. Not to forget, the room is completely customizable, which means players can tweak it to their liking.

The game will release on Feb 10, 2023, for PC PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will arrive on April 4, 2023, and Nintendo Switch, on July 25, 2023.
