Horner explains if Ricciardo regrets his decision about Red Bull
Daniel Ricciardo announced his move to Renault during the summer break, an announcement that took the F1 fraternity by surprise, as Red Bull had suggested that a contract renewal was just round the corner.
Apparently, Red Bull too were surprised by Ricciardo’s choice, especially because of how far back Renault is in the grid.
Now, Ricciardo is already having a frustrating season with Red Bull, one where he has had to deal with 8 DNFs.
In the post race interview after the Mexico GP, wherein Ricciardo blasted Red Bull for the cursed car, going as far as to say that he might not even show up during the last two races.

Speaking about Ricciardo’s move to Renault, Horner said that only if Ricciardo could say if he is actually regretting that move or if he is delighted after a painful season with Red Bull.
“Only Daniel can answer,” Horner said.
“There’s no point broaching that with him – the decision was made, he was comfortable with the decision.
“He’s driving a competitive car that’s taken pole position this weekend and you can see the differential between where this part [the front] of the grid is and where this part [Renault] is two laps behind.” he added.
